One day I walked into class a few minutes early to find music ringing and all the students dancing. One student stood out in particular to me, a student who I am told has been taught to dance. Next class I brought my camera so that you, too, could enjoy the sight of my kindergarten student rocking his head and his hips in gyrating circles. I just can’t help but laugh.

The kindergarteners graduated today! It’s hard to describe in writing so we’ll try to let the pictures do the talking. Each kid was able to dress up and perform outside in front of a few hundred parents showing off a bit of what they’ve learned this year. It lasted two hours – long, a bit hot, but altogether very nice! Enjoy!

Wow, I don’t think we realized how much time has passed since we last posted here. This month has flown by very fast, thankfully, and as much as we wish that these next two months would continue that trend, I think the fact that we are counting the days until we visit home will cause it to slow to a turtle’s pace. Hey everybody! We just got back from a nice 2-day holiday trip to Urumqi, the capital of our province and thought we should share some pictures (and a movie)! This week has been a much anticipated “Spring Break” of sorts which is just short of halfway through our semester.
